Responsibilities:
- Provide high level of support and service to the client
- To ensure that product performance, product quality and technical service standards are delivered to the highest standards
- Provide technical advice, resolve process control issues, and assist when issues arise and deal with any complaints
- Provide continuos improvement ideas (CIP’s) to the plant to improve their process and line efficiency
- Deliver training on product technology and application
- Take part in new product trials as new technologies are introduced
- Conduct plant visit reports and audits on the front end process – both lubricants and washer chemicals
- Provide technical support on start-up programs for new and existing can line facilities and ensure all product conversions are completed seamlessly
- To be contactable on telephone 24/7 in emergency situations
- Monitor and maintain agreed stock levels
- Coordinate monthly coolant samples sent to local and overseas laboratory
- Attend trade show exhibitions as required
Requirements:
- Chemistry, Production or relevant engineering degree (desirable)
- A minimum of 2 years of technical experience in the appropriate industry: Cans, Metals etc
- Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting customer expectations and requirements
- Results Driven – Holds self and others accountable for achieving performance objectives
- Ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision
- Communication skills – Written, verbal and active listening
- Be able to communicate and correspond in English
- Able to work under pressure and work as a team
- Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
